St. Joseph Notre Dame senior Emily Perez clocked 18:29 on the 5-kilometer course to place fourth in the Division 5 girls state final at Woodward Park in Fresno, Calif. Perez is one of only two female athletes in the class of 2019 to earn all-state honors all four years in her career, joining Walnut's Chloe Arriaga in Division 1.
